Engine surface cleaning

Hell, I am rebuilding a CB750 K4, do you guys know anything about supersonic cleaning, I have a supersonic bath but I am not sure what to use in it to clean aluminium? I also want to paint my engine in the stock silver paint, where can I buy this paint?
