My tank has several spots (dime and quarter size) where it looks like the clear coat has bubbled and/or turned milky. The paint underneath appears to be in good shape and thankfully none are over the decals. Can that be wet sanded and then sprayed with a new clear coat? Any tips on how to do this without causing any issues to the paint? Thanks.

I can be done that way if done properly and carefully. Wet sanding is the best way as it cuts cleaner and faster. The paint is not very thick so you really have to be carefull.

Agreed, slow and careful. I tried starting with a sanding block but found I had more control with my fingertips. I focused on just feathering the edges of the damage vs. the whole area. Seems to be working pretty good. Thanks dirtdigger.
