I have a carb float that sits too low. Problem is that it looks like the seat that the float needle sits in is pushed in too far. They don't appear to be screwed in but pressed in, is that right? I have the 'keyhole top' style carbs. The style of rebuild kits I would need look like this:

How do I get that old brass seat out of there? The only thing I can think of is to screw in a bit and either pull it, or back it out, in the same kind of fashion you remove stripped bolts. Is there a better way? A special tool? Any insight is greatly appreciated.
