ignition nightmare

Took my stock ignition off the triples to clean it up and bottom part disintegrated which is fine I know where to buy the new piece. My big issue is I took the sleeve off the top part that goes on around where the key goes because it's really loose and lost a spring or something. I found a new entire ignition and key from partsnmore.com and its part #12-0051 the problem is my bike is a 1975 cb750f and the part on the site says it's for a 76-78 it looks the same but don't want to buy it if it won't work please someone help me out ugh thanks in advance for any help

I see the base plate repair kit for the 75 f but the whole thing is what I need to replace and it says it's for a 76

it should be the same as the 76
