Hi folks, first my bike is a 1980 CB750F.
Sometimes when I'm in neutral at a red light and I want to shift into 1st, the gear just wont engage. I have to put it in 2nd then go down to 1st and it works. Its a problem I had a few times, it doesn't happen all the time. Now I try to stay in first when I'm at a red light, to avoid this annoying problem.
Could this be a sign of clutch wear?
PS.: When I'm in neutral and engage first gear, the bike always do a loud 'sklonk', is that normal ? I know its normal to have a little 'sklonk', but mine sounds a bit too loud to be normal.
