stator

ive ordered and sent back 4 stators to 4 different places. they keep sending me a 3 wire stator. 3 yellow wires. sohc cb750 uses a 5 wire stator. can anyone provide a link to a site that actually sends the correct parts? im starting to get really sick of these bikes, really damn fast. does...

i havent done any tests yet but its acting exactly like when my other bikes stator went out. i cant find a stator for sale for the life of me except the $400 cyclexchange one. found the other bits i need on vintagecb750.com but where can i find a stator? or will i have to get the stock one...

Can someone pls help with ways to remove a rusted alternator stator from my 1980 CB750K? :confused: Also, any ideas on where to get a cover for the alternator?? Thanks :wink2:

Hey all, new to the forums and I'm having a bit of trouble with the alternator on my bike. My bike is a 1980 CB 750. The stator's yellow wires all test good, with ~.5 ohms between them all, none to ground. The issue is with the white/black wires. They show a wide range of Ohms between the two...

I am replacing my stator and made the mistake of not making a diagram of the wires going to the brushes. Is there anything out there showing the connection of the black / white wire to the A & B brushes? Does it make a difference?
