    They are normal transistorized ignition, the spark unit simply replaces the points. They are NOT CDI type as some manuals claim. More like the type used

    Weak power to coil. New coil may be no good as well. Not impossible. Flip them and see if problem moves. No enough dwell (too wide a gap) on one point
