    FYI, the centerstand can still be used as a tool temporarily installed to get say front wheel off the ground but you MUST at least reinstall the bolts

    Brake being mushy is a pressure leak. A dirty caliper would leak. The MASTER might be dirty inside.

    Reasonable solution. It does appear to have original components, and when replacing parts, I'm trying to buy OEM parts or identical looking replacements.
